Carla, I thought the interview you had with both Roy and Chico (the two gentlemen who spent 38 years total in jail) was
amazing. I often speak to my now ex-wife about our involvement in our kid's life. She wants to run the street with any and everybody instead of being a mother. It's not easy explaining to your child why his mother isn't as involved in his life as am. I pray that her absence doesn't affect him mentally in the future. I've tried over and over again but nothing helps. I wish I had made better choices when it came down to who I would have a baby with. This entire situation makes me sick to my stomach. I hope my kid doesn't end up in prison because he knows how it feels when your mother doesn't love you. How can I speak with Roy or Chico those brothers have been through a lot and maybe they can school me on what additional steps I can take to be a support system for my son. Carla don't forget I need to reach either Roy or Chico. Thank you for being able to dig deep and ask those personal questions during your conversation with them. You don't seem like you know much about being on the wrong side of the street.
